Meine Bilder wachsen auf der Fläche vor mir. Sie fordern mein Handeln und bestimmen die Materialien. Ich werde zur ausführenden Kraft meiner Emotionen und meiner Werke.
Es ist ein Prozess, der mit einem weißen Grund beginnt, wächst, Formen annimmt und durchwandert, Materialien fordert und verwirft und schließlich – oftmals fast überraschend für mich – einen Endpunkt findet. Immer fließen gegenständliche Formen und Elemente in meine Arbeiten ein und erzählen ihre Geschichte genauso, wie Farbe und Abstraktion.
